How You Can Pay by Credit Card
Due to popular demand, we are now offering SHR clients the option to pay by Visa or MasterCard. Some of the benefits of paying by credit card include reducing accounting administrative time, not incurring late fees and earning frequent flyer miles!

Earn a Free Month Through SHR's Referral Program
Until the end of 2007, SHR is offering current clients a free month of service for every new customer that is referred and purchases SHR!

Privacy & Security Information
Privacy and security is of utmost importance to what we do. Outlined below is some information that may be useful in answering employee questions and encouraging safe and secure practices by your users.
Logging in through Our Secure Website
When you log into SHR, the URL changes to https://www.sharedhr.com and there is a locked padlock that displays in the bottom right corner of your screen. This indicates that the website is secured using a method called SSL. SSL enables a secure connection between you as the user and the server where the data is stored. The version of SSL used by SHR is 128 bit encrypted (the standard used by all banks). This is the highest possible level of encryption for data transmission.
Logging out of SHR
It is highly recommended that you use the logout link in the upper right hand corner of SHR's site to securely end your session. As additional security, if a user does not have any activity on SHR for a certain period of time, the session automatically times out.
Employee Passwords
It is important for all users to keep their passwords confidential so that their own personal information cannot be accessed by others. Users can change their passwords at any time and it is advisable that they change these on a regular schedule, perhaps setting up reminders in their calendar for a few times every year. Passwords that contain a combination of numbers and letters, lowercase and uppercase, are recommended to increase the security of a password. This is standard best practice advice for any passwords granting online access to private information.
Recent Updates to SHR
We had a "silent" release a few weeks ago that primarily contained updates to facilitate integration between SHR and other online solutions. This release also included compliance for some additional states, Puerto Rico, and international enhancements.
Report Enhancements
Work is continuing on enhancing the flexibility of reports and you may have noticed some changes on the report settings pages to allow you to select more than one department, location, employee and Document Group. On report settings pages, clicking on the orange arrows will expand the selection for e.g. departments, and allow you to pick multiple options.
Document Library Updates
Some forms and documents have been updated in the Document Library and are listed below. As Administrators, you can access the "Manage Library Documents" section. Each SHR document has a last reviewed and last updated date that you may wish to glance through. (Dates that appear in red indicate that SHR has updated the model/standard version and you may want to review these changes against your custom version).
